Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 months construction, manufacturing, mechanical or related work experience.
• Physically able to perform heavy construction work.
• Valid U. S. driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record.
• Position is safety sensitive and requires DOT testing.
• CDL Class A within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Construct, operate, maintain and repair mains, services and associated equipment.
• Install and repair mains, services and equipment such as sleeves, fittings and valves.
• Operate equipment to control gas flow in mains.
• Read gauges during pressure tests, purging and gas removal as directed.
• Repair manholes, valve boxes and similar installations.
• Disconnect and reconnect meters and service regulators as needed.
• Install corrosion protection materials.
• Reconstruct meter sets in residences per Company standards.
• Operate vehicles and heavy equipment as required.
• Perform markout work as needed.
