Job summary

Centuri in the United States is seeking a Gas Utility Foreman to lead field crews on gas projects, ensure safety, and coordinate logistics to complete tasks on schedule.

You will coach workers, maintain compliance with Dig Safe, and track site paperwork while delivering projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• 2+ years prior experience in gas utility industry.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily crews, equipment, and material logistics to ensure safe, seamless project completion from start to finish.
• Coach and develop crew members on standard safety protocols and high-quality craftsmanship.
• Lead Dig Safe compliance and serve as the primary point of contact for utility mark-outs and resolution.
• Work alongside team members in equipment operation, pipefitting, and general labor to support production goals.
• Accurate tracking of site paperwork, daily production logs, and project status updates.
• Swiftly identify and resolve on-site operational challenges to keep work moving forward safely.
• Maintain all industry required Operator Qualifications.
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.

As a hands on Gas Utility Foremen, you will use your 2+ years of gas utility experience to manage the job site - taking responsibility for planning and executing tasks safely and efficiently to ensure projects are completed on time. In this leadership role, you will guide your crew by providing coaching and training, helping team members grow and develop their skillsets to achieve long-term success.

Work Environment

• Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
• All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
• Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
• Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
• Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment
• Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Legal Stuff

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
