Job summary

Vericor Power Systems, LLC is seeking technicians to assemble and test gas turbine engines, modules and accessories. You will perform disassembly, cleaning, and inspection while ensuring compliance with technical data and OEM manuals.

Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, following procedures, and contributing to productivity improvements. You will work in a fast-paced environment, support multiple projects, and cross-train with other technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow technical manuals, overhaul instructions and OEM manuals.
• Demonstrated attention to detail in inspection and documentation.
• Commitment to productivity and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple projects.
• Willingness to cross-train in related technician skills to support production.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test gas turbine engines, modules, components, and accessories to meet data, contract and company standards.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect and document results per procedures.
• Move between production assignments to support requirements.
• Maintain documentation for all work performed.
• Maintain tooling and equipment for reliability and safety.
• Observe safety rules and report unsafe practices or conditions.
• Participate in cross training as needed to support production.

Scope Of Position

Performs assembly and test of gas turbine engines, modules, components, and accessories to assure compliance to technical data, contractual obligations, and company standards
Performs disassembly, cleaning, and inspection of gas turbine engines, modules, components, and accessories to assure compliance to technical data, contractual obligations, and company standards.
Moves between production assignments as needed to support production requirements.
Carries out other duties as assigned.

• Uses machines, tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, plant equipment and consumables necessary to carry out the required tasks.
• Ability to follow and understand related company instructions, MOTOR, company processes, overhaul manuals, and original equipment manufacturer’s manuals.
• Maintain necessary documentation for all work performed.
• Demonstrate commitment to productivity and continuous improvement to reduce costs and improve delivery.
• Demonstrate commitment to superior customer service and high-quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Actively cross trains in other complementary skills as needed to support production requirements.
• Participates in cross training of other technicians as needed to support production requirements.
• Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
• Maintain company tooling and equipment to ensure reliability.
