Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technical Lead to guide gas turbine engineering efforts. You will lead cross-functional teams, evaluate designs, and influence decisions affecting performance, reliability, and project success.

The role emphasizes mentoring, technical excellence, and collaboration across manufacturing, quality, and service to advance engine programs and technology maturation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 8+ years of gas turbine engineering experience.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical projects.
• Strong understanding of gas turbine systems and fundamentals.
• Experience reviewing analyses, designs, and test data.
• Willingness to travel 5–10% and work across disciplines.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across gas turbine programs and initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering solutions.
• Drive technical decisions through analysis, judgment and collaboration.
• Identify risks and mitigate plans to support program execution.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain and service teams.
• Review analyses, designs and test results for readiness at milestones.
• Mentor engineers and promote best engineering practices.
• Support development and field activities across components and engines.
