Job summary

Durr CTS Inc. is seeking an Applications Engineer to support field and internal sales teams in evaluating and selling gas turbine inlet and exhaust systems. You will tailor solutions to meet customer requirements and drive project success.

Key duties include presenting technical solutions, preparing system descriptions, and collaborating with design and project teams to ensure quality fabrication drawings and manufacturability. Travel up to 25% and some international duties are involved.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
Minimum 5 years of engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain expert knowledge of products and applications, especially gas turbine inlet/exhaust systems.
Interpret customer requirements and provide reliable solutions.
Prepare system descriptions or mark-ups from technical specs.
Cost projects during the bid process.
Serve as technical liaison for warranty and field issues.
Ensure engineering requirements are communicated to customers.
Provide technical support during customer visits, including presentations.
