Eversource Energy is seeking a Gas Training Specialist to design, deliver and evaluate technical training focused on gas distribution and construction for field personnel.
The role involves interpreting codes, developing hands-on simulations, coordinating instructors, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across apprentice and Operator Qualification programs. Travel between MA/CT/NH may be required.

Conducts technical training related to Gas operations, associated equipment. Interprets local, state and national codes for field personnel. This Trainer will focus on Gas Distribution and Construction training for our employees.
Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience.

Work is performed primarily in training facility (indoors & outdoors). Occasional field training. Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required. Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
Work includes analyzing, planning, organizing, evaluating and documenting. This role works in an environment that often requires the performance of multiple simultaneous activities, where deadlines need to be met and work is frequently performed under time pressure while involving significant business commitments. Work also requires the management of interpersonal interactions between various personalities in a class setting.
Responding to emergency situations to meet customers’ needs is part of every employee’s role. If employed, you will be given an Emergency Restoration assignment. This means you may be called to assist during an emergency outside of your normal responsibilities, work hours and location.
