Job summary

Inframark O&M Warner Robins invites applications for an entry-level position supporting natural gas distribution. You will assist in locating and painting meters, perform basic leak tests, and handle maintenance tasks under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license and meet minimum driving standards.
• Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing codes, as applied to service and installation of appliances.
• Knowledge of electronics and its application to control circuits and systems.

• Perform landscape maintenance and traffic control tasks.

• Work harmoniously with Inframark employees and the public and comply with company policies.

The essential function of the position you would perform entry-level tasks that support natural gas distribution and service. You would be responsible for assisting in locating and painting meters; basic leak investigation; maintenance tasks; and general labor. We are looking for customer-service oriented candidates with experience working with mechanical and electrical systems.

• Working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing codes, as applied to service and installation of appliances.
• Working knowledge of electronics and its application to control circuits and systems.
• Working knowledge of HVAC equipment, the installation and service of appliances, venting systems, gas burning equipment and metering and regulating systems.

Working conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to extreme heat and/or cold, wet or humid conditions, bright and/or dim light, dust or pollen, intense noise levels, vibration, fumes or noxious odors. All required safety standards shall be adhered to in order to mitigate risk from moving mechanical parts, electrical shock, heights, blood-borne pathogens, traffic, animals and wildlife, toxic or caustic chemicals, and other identified hazards.

Physical requirements

This position requires frequent standing, kneeling, bending and climbing. The employee must be able to use hands to operate and manipulate tools and equipment. This position requires very heavy physical exertion including the ability to lift over 50 pounds and exert over 100 pounds of force on a regular basis.

The employee must be willing to work non-standard and overtime hours as required.

The position requires normal visual acuity and field of vision, hearing, and depth perception.
