Job summary

Sam's Club in Deptford, NJ is seeking a Customer Associate to explain membership types and benefits to Members, assist with purchasing decisions, and promote Sam's Club products and services. You will help Members find items, resolve concerns, and maintain a clean, safe shopping environment.

The role includes stocking merchandise, operating cash registers, and maintaining gas station/car wash areas per company policies.

Responsibilities

• Explain membership types, programs, and benefits to Members to assist with account decisions and promote value of Sam's Club products and services
• Provide Customer/Member service by addressing needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns while promoting products and services in a safe shopping environment
• Maintain area of responsibility by cleaning and organizing the car wash/gas station area and ensuring accurate pricing signage
• Maintains Gas Station/Car Wash area equipment and handles claims and returns, zones the area, and organizes merchandise and supplies while ensuring a safe work environment
• Receives and stocks merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers and organizes the facility by following procedures, logging paperwork and other documentation
• Operates cash registers and processes customer purchases using appropriate procedures for different payment types and items sold
• Promotes products and services and provides product and service to customers in accordance with Company policies and procedures
• Respects the Individual and acts with integrity to support Walmart's culture and maintain a safe environment
• Delivers results for customers and members while prioritizing short and long-term goals and team impact
