Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking a Gas Scheduler to perform daily gas scheduling for our pipeline and plant assets across our operation regions. The role involves close collaboration with shippers, Gas Control, Operations, Accounting, Marketing and Commercial teams to ensure a smooth flow of daily and monthly activities and accurate invoicing.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 0–2 years for Associate, 2–5 for Gas Scheduler, or 5+ years for Senior Gas Scheduler.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 0-2 years for Associate level.
  • 2-5 years of directly related experience for Gas Scheduler level.
  • 5+ years of directly related experience for Senior Gas Scheduler level.
  • Familiarity with natural gas scheduling and gas business.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with shippers, Gas Control, Operations, Accounting, Marketing and Commercial teams to ensure smooth daily/monthly gas flow.
  • Manage shipper and OBA imbalances daily.
  • Provide Scheduling spreadsheets to Accounting by EOM close deadlines for invoicing.
  • Assist shippers, Gas Control and Operations with volume management during plant/pipeline upsets and maintenance.
  • Provide analytical support to optimize plant and pipeline assets.
  • Monitor downstream pipe EBBs for OFOs and communicate to Gas Control and shippers.
  • Ensure scheduled volumes stay within measurement and operational capacities.
