Job summary

Wisconsin Gas, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Gas SCADA Engineering Specialist in Pewaukee, WI with a hybrid remote/on-site schedule. Responsibilities include SCADA design, system performance optimization, and regulatory compliance across gas distribution projects.

The role supports field and staff engineers, with emphasis on pressure and flow monitoring, HMI systems, and field device communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline; or an Associate’s degree with 3 years’ experience in engineering/project management.
• Experience with SCADA and process control systems appealing

Responsibilities

• Analyze design options and SCADA components; prepare engineering designs and cost estimates.
• Provide SCADA and process control support for pressure and flow monitoring, remote valves, HMI systems, and field devices.
• Apply codes and standards; ensure regulatory compliance; generate reports for regulatory needs.
• Utilize system knowledge to troubleshoot and improve performance and reliability.
• Support operations and engineering during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Lead change management for control system environment changes.
