Job summary

The role ensures work complies with federal and company standards and may involve directing work on site and decision-making on behalf of the company.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of gas construction and maintenance standards, work practices, and safety requirements.
• Knowledge of assessment and audit protocols and procedures.
• Knowledge of gas business information and office automation.
• Strong technical writing and oral communication skills.
• Familiar with MS Office and adaptable to other PC-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe work practices per Health and Safety Handbook and Contractor Safety Manual.
• Verifies work activities align with Gas Distribution standards; ensure qualified personnel.
• Verifies work packages with procedures, mark out ticket, and mapping information.
• Monitors resources related to the re-dig program.
• Supports onboarding of contractor crews and Operator Qualification adherence.
• Identifies non-compliant conditions and recommends corrective action.
• Documents inspection results and gas quality control programs.
• Contributes to annual gas inspection plan and random inspections.
• May be assigned an ERP role and support Gas or Electric during ERP events.
