Job summary

Progressive is seeking a Mechanical Designer to support gas distribution and underground infrastructure projects in California. You will develop detailed engineering designs and construction drawings to enable project teams to execute pipelines and underground utilities.

Qualifications

• Develop mechanical and pipeline design concepts and drawings.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to refine designs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and project requirements.
• Develop and maintain isometric drawings for underground infrastructure and gas systems.
• Support design revisions and updates throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical and pipeline design drawings for gas distribution projects.
• Create detailed construction drawings to support field installation and project execution.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Mechanical Engineers, and Mechanical Designers throughout the design process.
• Produce design packages for underground infrastructure and high-pressure gas systems.
• Develop and maintain isometric drawings as required.
• Incorporate mechanical components and equipment into project designs.
• Support design revisions and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards and project requirements.
