Boardwalk Pipelines, LP in Westlake, LA seeks an Associate Field Technician to operate and maintain a natural gas compressor station and pipeline system, ensuring safe product flow and full regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include rotating schedule operation, on-call response, environmental, health, safety support, and performing maintenance per DOT regulations; candidates must live within 30 miles of the Westlake office and have a high school diploma.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with natural gas pipelines and compressor facilities preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT 192 regulations preferred.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Mansioni

• Operate compressor station and pipeline system on rotating schedule.
• Respond to callouts and participate in on-call rotation.
• Provide environmental, health, safety and reliability support; complete incident reporting.
• Perform operations, maintenance and repair procedures per regulations and company policies.
• Inspect meters, corrosion control, valves, leak surveys and right-of-way areas.
• Coordinate pipe locates, excavations and encroachments; acquire Operator Qualification (OQ) tasks.
