Job summary

Miller Pipeline is se eking Laborers in Missouri to join our gas distribution crews. You will assist in repair, maintenance, construction, installation and fusion of plastic pipe while supporting pipeline rehabilitation.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of outdoor/manual labor, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a DOT physical and operator qualifications tests. CDL class A is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years’ experience may substitute education.
• 1 year of outdoor work or manual labor experience required.
• Clean driving record and a DOT physical or ability to obtain one upon employment.
• Must pass computer-based testing, specific to the local Customer’s operator qualifications.
• Preferred: Class A CDL and gas construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Properly lift tools, objects and equipment of varying weight.
• Compress soil and asphalt.
• Shovel material, soil and cold patch asphalt mix.
• Operate vehicles used for hauling.
• Assist in the demolition, take-up and reconditioning of old pipe.
• Score and break asphalt or concrete with a jackhammer.
• Repair backfilled trench areas with grass seed or asphalt.
• Travel frequently within the area for work assignments.
