Job summary

Dave Jones, LLC seeks a Gas Pipe Assistant to support code-compliant gas system installations on commercial sites in Wisconsin. Starting wage ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience. The role requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent.

You will assist with copper, steel, and flexible piping, read blueprints, core openings, and participate in system testing to ensure safety and compliance on projects of various sizes.

Qualifications

• Blueprints reading and interpretation required.
• Ability to read layout designs for piping installations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with gas system installations on commercial sites to code standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and basic design layouts as needed.
• Cut and core openings for piping using hand and power tools.
• Support testing of systems to ensure leak-free and code-compliant installations.
• Assist in calculating BTU loads and sizing pipe layouts.
• Help install piping, fittings, valves, regulators and gas appliances.
