Insight Global is seeking a Engineering Supervisor to join a large utility client here in Houston, Texas. The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for leading, planning, and directing gas distribution engineering and design activities to ensure the safe, efficient, and practical installation of distribution systems while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and company standards. This role supervises engineering staff and oversees the design, calculation, estimation, and coordination of gas distribution facility projects from concept through implementation, including project budgeting, economic justification development, capital expenditure management, and system performance evaluation. The Engineering Supervisor serves as a technical resource for engineers, coordinates complex multi-disciplinary projects, monitors construction costs and project execution, and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Additionally, this position plays a key leadership role by developing employee talent, conducting performance evaluations and audits, implementing training programs, fostering a culture of safety, and building high-performing teams that support the company operational and business objectives.
