Job summary

Aaag-LLC in Baton Rouge/Hammond region seeks an Automotive Diagnostic Technician to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on cars, vans, and light trucks. You will perform engine tune-ups, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure safe, efficient operation while maintaining excellent customer service.

Requirements include 5+ years of diagnostic experience, gas and diesel engine expertise, valid license, and a strong toolset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of diagnostic automotive technician experience
• Gas and diesel engine diagnostic experience is required
• Able to work on various makes and models
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good set of tools (specialty tools provided)
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and repair techniques
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and staff

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on cars, vans, and light trucks.
• Perform engine tune-ups and troubleshoot complex vehicle issues.
• Repair or replace parts and components as needed.
• Conduct routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Provide courteous, efficient customer service.
• Communicate operational concerns to management in a timely manner.
• Work independently and collaboratively with the team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
