Job summary

Matheson Tri-Gas seeks a professional driver in Rancho Cucamonga, CA to transport cylinders and hard goods safely and efficiently. You will verify loads, maintain duty-status logs, and perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections.

Required: valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Air Brake endorsements, Medical card; Tanker endorsements preferred. Forklift experience a plus; reports to Site/Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Class A CDL, Hazmat and Air Brake endorsements and a Medical card
• Tanker endorsements preferred for additional responsibilities
• Forklift operation experience and safe handling of cylinders

Responsibilities

• Transports cylinders to assigned internal and external customers in a timely and safety conscious manner.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle; maintains vehicle cleanliness.
• Completes driver logs/trip reports daily with legible entries.
• Records cylinder/hard-goods transactions on delivery tickets and trip reports.
• Maintains communication with supervisor on safety and customer matters.
• Operates forklift for loading/unloading as needed.
• Upholds loss prevention policies and adheres to safety rules; reports incidents.
• Coordinates with stakeholders to meet deadlines and ensure on-time delivery.
