Job summary

Meijer, a family-owned retailer with deep roots in Michigan, invites you to join our store team. You will stock shelves, move products from pallets to shelves, handle back-room backstock, and keep a safe, clean environment while serving customers.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Follows processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
• Stays calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoys being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
