Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Production Team Partner in the Shipping Department to ensure on-time delivery of garments for customers. This entry-level role involves prepping garments, organizing by route, inspecting quality, and supporting the production floor with cross-training opportunities.

You'll join a 40-hour workweek with training on the job, competitive hourly pay, and benefits including 401K, health insurance, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. Weekends are off on a 5-day schedule.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions using US customary units.

Responsibilities

• Prepare garments to be shipped back to customer locations.
• Organize garments by route and stop number.
• Store garments until shipment back to the customer.
• Handle final inspection to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Prepare garments that require polybagging/wrapping.
• Follow safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management.
