Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Production Team Partner to join our Shipping Department. This entry-level role offers a 40-hour workweek with weekends off and on-the-job training. You will help ensure on-time delivery of garments by preparing, organizing, and inspecting products for shipment.

The position emphasizes safety, basic math, and clear communication with management, with benefits including 401(k) with company match, profit sharing, health insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare garments to be shipped back to customer locations.
• Organize garments by route and stop number.
• Store garments until shipment back to the customer.
• Handle final inspection to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Prepare garments that require polybagging or wrapping.
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management.
