Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Production Team Partner in Waterloo, IA, to assist in pre-tunnel inspection and garment processing. You will count, hang, and visually inspect garments, ensuring they pass a 20-point inspection while following safety and HACCP guidelines.

We offer on-the-job training, a 40-hour work week, and several benefits. This is a temporary position with potential to transition to permanent based on business needs and performance.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions using US units.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs and push up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Count garments.
• Hang garments to be processed through the steam tunnel.
• Visually inspect garments for tears, holes, stains, and damage.
• Ensure all garments pass the UniFirst 20-point inspection process.
• Follow safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
