Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Stockroom Worker to manage garment inventories, inspect items, and prepare orders for delivery. You will use sewing and labeling tools to alter or repair garments, ensure accurate packing, and maintain organized storage areas.

The role focuses on fast, accurate processing in a production laundry environment with emphasis on safety and efficiency. Previous experience in textile or warehouse settings is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must recognize colors and sizes and sort accurately.
• Able to multi-task with a high degree of accuracy.
• Adequate computer skills or ability to learn.
• Comprehend and follow packing instructions or work orders.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve garments from storage or from vendors and verify packing tickets.
• Identify shortages and back orders and notify supervision.
• Inspect garments and perform alterations if needed.
• Prepare labels using computer systems and label machinery.
• Pack and route garments according to orders and routes.
• Maintain inventory levels and clean, safe work area.
