Job summary

Jensen Landscape Services is seeking a dependable grounds maintenance worker to support commercial landscapes in Livermore, CA. This role focuses on maintaining sites, coordinating with the foreman, and delivering high-quality service.

Essential duties include mowing, raking, weeding, pruning, edging, operating equipment safely, and adhering to company safety policies. A valid driver's license is required; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain commercial landscapes as directed by Foreman.

• Adhere to company code of conduct at all times.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the maintenance of commercial landscapes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience

• Commercial landscape experience required.

License or Certification

• Valid Driver’s License issued from state of employment required.

• Frequently works with mechanical objects and outside in all weather conditions

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Ensure Maintain job site as instructed by Foreman. Possible duties include, but are not limited to mowing, raking, weeding, shearing, edging, and hand pruning
• Safe operation of equipment, including: 21 and 36 mowers; power hedge shears; power shears; backpack blower; aerator
• Basic understanding of Plant ID
• Basic hand pruning skills
• Basic skill in shearing shrubs and hedges
• Operate all vehicles and equipment in accordance’s with Monarch Safety Policy
• Abide by Monarch code of conduct at all times
• Shows up to work each day on time; completes all tasks within time expectations; adheres to company dress code policy; wears clean clothes to work each day; follows inclement weather policy and sick leave reporting procedures
• All other duties as assigned.
