Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA is seeking Seasonal Garden Shop Retail Associates to support our on-site shop through January 2027. You will help guests with purchases, maintain displays, and ensure a welcoming, organized shopping environment.

Ideal candidates have outstanding customer service, are comfortable working outdoors in varied weather, and can use a POS system and basic Microsoft Office. Shifts run 28–40 hours per week, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Availability to work 28-40 hours per week, including weekends, evenings, and holidays through January 2027.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Outstanding customer service, communication, and hospitality skills.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale/register systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• The ability to stand and sit for extended periods, and safely lift and carry a minimum of 20 pounds.

• Assisting with and maintaining visual presentations and merchandise standards.

• Contributing to sales performance by supporting team goals and key retail metrics.
• Supporting operations in secondary retail locations as needed, which may involve working in areas with limited climate control.

Longwood Gardens is seeking seasonal Garden Shop Retail Associates to support our on-site retail operations in our 6000 sq. ft. Garden Shop through January 2027. The Retail Associates are responsible for the operational readiness and daily assignments required to deliver an extraordinary experience to our guests in our Gardens Shop. Responsibilities include:
