Job summary

Green Acres Nursery & Supply is hiring Delivery Drivers who will provide excellent customer service in store and at delivery points. You will deliver merchandise on schedule, verify orders, and assist with packing, loading, and assembling products as needed.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, at least 3 years of driving experience, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. A strong knowledge of plants helps enhance customer experiences across the garden center.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of products and plants.
• A passion for outstanding customer service.
• Valid driver license and no driving violations.
• Must have driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to customers in store and at delivery points.
• Deliver merchandise to correct location on specified date and time.
• Ensure each order is correct and that it is of the highest quality.
• Properly pack and load orders.
• Assemble products (i.e. Patio Furniture and Barbecues).
• Perform necessary upkeep, scheduled maintenance and cleaning of delivery truck.
• Assist in Warehouse Organization.
• Assist other staff when needed.
• Maintain neat, professional appearance at all times.
• Execute any other tasks that managers may assign.
