Job summary

Altman Specialty Plants, LLC is seeking seasonal team members to work at Harrison, AR garden centers. You will stock and display fresh plant material, unload deliveries, and maintain a sales-ready appearance while assisting customers.

This role embraces outdoor conditions, flexible scheduling, paid training, and opportunities for growth. You will collaborate with coworkers, vendors, and retail staff, upholding our values and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with others and unsupervised at times.
• Effective communication with customers, coworkers and managers.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather.
• Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance.
• Reliable transportation to assigned stores and safe DMV record.
• Familiarity with clocking in/out via mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Stock and display fresh plant material in garden centers from delivery racks.
• Maintain a sales-ready appearance for all plants and displays.
• Work cooperatively with coworkers, vendors and retail staff.
• Remove and dispose of non-sellable plants.
• Assist in inventory cycle counts.
• Assist with resets, displays, and special events.
• Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
• Keep work areas clean and safe.
• Use pallet jacks, pruners, ladders, and related tools.
• Work assigned schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Ensure empty delivery racks are ready for pickup.

• Pushing of loaded and empty delivery racks daily
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Frequent kneeling, stooping, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Budgeted hours vary by season and are affected by weather and sales demands
• Outdoor work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
• Exposure to dust, soil, wind, uneven pavement and moving mechanical parts.
