Job summary

Ace Hardware is seeking a Garden Center Manager to lead the garden area across a network of Ace stores. You will supervise Garden Center staff, ensure excellent customer service, manage planting supplies, and oversee displays and seasonal decor to wow customers daily.

Ideal candidates bring knowledge of plant care, inventory control, and the ability to work outdoors, including lifting and stocking. This full-time role offers a supportive team and opportunities for growth within the Ace Hardware

The primary responsibility for all positions with 66 ACE Hardware Group is to WOW Every Customer Every Time and uphold the Core Values. The Garden Center Manager’s primary role is to manage the operations of the Garden Center. Drives customer service in every way, to make shopping the Garden Center as easy and pleasant of an experience as possible. Manages Garden Center associates as needed and helps out in all areas of the store daily.

• Understanding of plant care, seasonal cycles and product selection.
• Experience with staffing, schedules, sales and inventory control.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks i.e., lifting, watering and stocking.
• Able to communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Skilled at providing prompt, friendly and attentive customer service
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising, displays and seasonal décor.
• Proven track record of being a team player
• Availability must be flexible, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
