Colonial Group is seeking an experienced maintenance mechanic to support its paper manufacturing operation. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability in keeping mobile equipment running.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pumps and mobile machinery, perform arc welding and proper rigging, and operate cranes, forklifts, and hoists. Strong communication and the ability to work with production staff are essential.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a 2-year technical program.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to sit, stoop, and bend.
• Experience in a paper or other manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Training and certification in mobile equipment repair is a plus.

Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a paper or other manufacturing environment.

Training and certification in mobile equipment repair.

3 years’ experience as a heavy industrial mechanic or maintenance mechanic or equivalent training and experience.
