Provide a training plan to your supervisor each year for approval.* Ensure workspace is clean, safe and organized.* Provide input and feedback to supervisor in regard to job performance.* Able to support lean manufacturing.* Assist or perform other departmental jobs as directed. **QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:*** Thorough knowledge of powered truck construction and auto mechanics with strong troubleshooting skills. change parts as required.* Understand purpose of symbols used in and information provided on electrical diagrams, including block, single line, schematic, wiring, connection and raceway diagrams.* Skillful in using all tools. Hand and power tools, diagnostic tools, precision measurement tool.* Know preventive maintenance of automotive equipment.* Understanding of “P.I.T. Cost of Ownership” while assessing repairs and service.* Knowledge of power drive train systems.* Understanding of hydraulic lifting mechanisms and their principles.* Understands components and operation of various types of valves and valve actuators used in hydraulic systems.* Able to frequently crawl under; climb over and around equipment to make repairs.* Basic computer skills required.* Good electrical aptitude.* Trained and has demonstrated compliance for Electrical LOTO requirements per NFPA 70E.* Good mechanical aptitude.* Good physical condition. Note: Job requires some heavy lifting.
