Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is hiring a The Garage- Fueler - Spotter in Edmond, OK. The role runs Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM and supports delivery operations in a fast-paced environment.

The Spotter/Fueler will back delivery equipment to dock doors, fuel equipment correctly, and maintain accurate fueling records while ensuring safety and efficiency in yard and wash bay areas. Prior tractor trailer experience preferred; high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Must back tractor trailer to dock doors.
• Able to maneuver equipment through narrow wash bay.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Responsible for fueling tractor/trailer and maintaining fueling records.
• Some knowledge of refrigerated trailer operation helpful.
• Able to follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively.
• Requires extensive walking and climbing in/out of vehicles.
• Flexible to changes and no criminal record.

Monday thru Friday. 1:00PM to 9:30PM

The Garage- Fueler - Spotter position must be able to back delivery equipment to dock doors. A detailed list is used with the specific size of equipment and door number assignment. The Spotter/Fueler must be able to complete the tasks accurately.

• Fuel Equipment ensuring proper fuel is used.
• Document miles, gallons and equipment numbers legibly.
• Maneuver tractor/trailer through wash bay and wash equipment
• Back delivery equipment to dock doors
• Recognize length of trailers at a glance.

• Must have 6 months heavy equipment truck driving experience

Driver safety is important to Ben E. Keith. We use dash cameras which leverage artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events and improve driver safety performance. The videos are also used to exonerate drivers in accidents. All drivers sign a driver consent form upon hire to confirm their understanding.
