Job summary

Precision Garage Door Service is seeking a proactive Garage Door Installer to service customers’ homes, repairing, replacing and installing garage doors with a company-provided vehicle and full training. You will diagnose issues, explain options clearly, and complete jobs safely and efficiently.

With independence on the job and strong earning potential—between $60,000 and $100,000 per year—you’ll enjoy a team that supports your growth, provides benefits, and rewards your performance.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Must be able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in the heat and cold, both outside and inside garages that may not be temperature-controlled.
• Have interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and solve issues.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair – You’ll be responsible for repairing garage doors, door operators, replacing worn or broken door parts, installing new equipment including doors, and replacing springs.
• Educating the customer – You’ll explain in detail and help the customer understand their options to repair the issue and prevent future ones.
• Sell service, repairs, and new equipment – Using our proven model, you’ll sell services to the customer and collect payment.
• Manage inventory in your vehicle – You’ll need the right equipment, tools, and products to properly sell the job and service the equipment.
