Job summary

Vortex Doors is seeking Service Technicians to join our team of door industry professionals. You will install, repair, and maintain a range of commercial doors and hardware, ensuring safe operation and compliance with building codes.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, communicating with clients, and maintaining service records. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required; related experience is a plus. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience in the commercial door service industry is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of various door types, brands, and hardware is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair a variety of commercial doors and related hardware.
• Diagnose and repair door-related issues (springs, hinges, locks, electrical components).
• Install and configure door hardware (locks, handles, closers, access control).
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Provide excellent customer service and explain repair processes.
• Maintain records of service visits, repairs, and installations.
