Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is assisting Chesterland, OH-based clients in filling Commercial/Residential Garage Door Technician roles. Candidates with strong carpentry skills may be considered in lieu of experienced technicians, with pay up to $23.00 per hour for the right candidate.

This first-shift position runs 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The role involves customer contact, service coordination, and basic electrical work such as wiring push button stations, radio controls,

Qualifications

• Strong customer service experience required.
• Construction & electrical background preferred.
• Must rebuild rolling door barrel and calculate springs.
• Must be able to wire basic electrical components, including push button stations, radio controls, safety edges, and operators.

Responsibilities

• Has telephone and personal contact with customers and employees regarding service and installation coordination.
• Properly document time sheets and cards to ensure complete accuracy of timekeeping for all jobs.
• Be responsible for participating in Safety and Toolbox talks every 2 weeks.
