Job summary

ProLift Garage Doors of Monmouth County is seeking a driven garage door technician to join their team. In this role, you will diagnose and repair garage door issues at customers' homes. You'll manage your schedule and inventory using Service Titan software while enjoying a supportive work environment.

This position offers unlimited earning potential with performance-based commissions and a flexible work schedule. Ideal candidates have a willingness to learn, sales and customer service experience, and preferably some construction or trade background.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have a willingness to learn garage door trade skills.
• Sales and customer service experience is highly preferred.
• Construction/trade experience or hand tool familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install or repair garage doors and openers.
• Travel to customer homes to diagnose garage door issues.
• Build and present quotes for repairs or replacements.
• Manage inventory in the truck and schedule client communications.
• Utilize Service Titan software for estimates and invoices.

Position Overview

As a garage door technician, you will travel in a company work truck to the customer’s home to diagnose their garage door issue, build and present a quote to repair or replace the door, and either repair the door during that visit or return later and replace the door. Technicians must manage the truck and its inventory as well as their schedule and client communications.

Qualifications

• Garage door experience not required - we welcome candidates with a willingness to learn and engage in our coaching program
• Preference is given to candidates with construction/trade experience or familiarity with hand tools
• Sales and customer service experience is highly preferred and very important to maximize your income.
• We welcome candidates who are natural team players and have an openness to receiving and giving feedback
