Job summary

Hunter Door in Moorestown, NJ seeks a Garage Door Technician / In-Home Sales Consultant to diagnose, repair, and install residential doors and openers. You’ll meet homeowners, recommend solutions, and deliver outstanding service with uncapped commissions.

No cold calling—appointments are provided. This role offers a company vehicle, tools and uniforms, paid training, and a path to career growth as you help customers choose the best door solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, mechanical work, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, or related trades.
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
• Sales experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and install residential garage doors and openers
• Meet with homeowners during scheduled service appointments
• Educate customers on repair and replacement options
• Recommend upgrades and solutions that fit their needs
• Complete 4–5 company-provided appointments per day
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience from start to finish
