Job summary

DC Garage Door & Services, Inc. in Lombard, IL is seeking an experienced Garage Door Installer & Service Technician to join our family-owned business.

This is not an entry-level role; a minimum of 3 years of professional garage door installation, service, and repair experience is required. The right technician will work independently in the field, diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and installing residential and light commercial garage door systems.

• Ability to diagnose and repair residential and light commercial systems.
• Communicate professionally with customers.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace garage doors and openers.

DC Garage Door & Services, Inc. is looking for an experienced Garage Door Installer & Service Technician to join our growing, family-owned company in Lombard, IL.

This is not an entry-level position. A minimum of 3 years of professional garage door installation, service, and repair experience is required.

The right technician will be comfortable working independently in the field and confidently diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and installing residential and light commercial garage door and opener systems. Responsibilities include garage door installations, service and repairs, opener installations and troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and safety inspections.

We’re looking for someone who knows the trade, takes pride in doing quality work, communicates professionally with customers, is dependable, and wants to build a long-term career with a company that values their experience and is continuing to grow.

We offer $25-$30/hour based on experience, plus overtime opportunities, commissions, performance bonuses, and customer tips. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation and sick time, a gym membership, and a primarily Monday-Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays.
