Job summary

Precision Garage Door Service is seeking a Service Technician Apprentice to join our team. You will diagnose and repair garage doors and related equipment on-site, while learning best practices from experienced technicians.

During the 90-day training, you’ll earn hourly pay, then move to commissions on the work completed. Most technicians earn between $80,000 and $120,000 annually, with a company-provided vehicle, benefits, PTO, and a clear path for advancement.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and technical skills preferred.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Comfortable in varied environmental conditions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficient with computers/tablets and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and resolving issues with garage doors and associated equipment on-site.
• Advising customers on repair options and ways to prevent future problems.
• Utilizing our proven model to sell services, repairs, and new equipment.
• Managing inventory and equipment in your provided vehicle.
