You will install, repair, and maintain residential doors and openers, work with tools, and provide solutions that improve safety and convenience. A team-focused environment supports your growth and career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in installation, repair, construction, home services, or a related field.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain residential garage doors and openers.
• Load, unload, and safely handle materials, tools, and equipment for each job.
• Provide friendly, professional service and create a positive experience for homeowners.
• Recommend upgrades and solutions that improve safety, convenience, functionality, and style.
• Troubleshoot issues and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Work with heavy components while following established safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure every job is completed correctly and on time.
• Travel to customer homes throughout Austin and surrounding communities.

You Will Be Trusted To:

• Install, repair, and maintain residential garage doors and openers

• Load, unload, and safely handle materials, tools, and equipment for each job

You Qualify With:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in installation, repair, construction, home services, or a related field

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work in physically active environments

Additional Success

• 1–2 years of experience working with garage doors or garage door systems

• Experience leading installations or completing complex repairs

• Confidence using hand tools, power tools, and related equipment

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Previous customer service or in-home service experience
