Job summary

Century Garage Door Service is seeking a Garage Door Service & Sales Technician to diagnose, repair, and install garage doors and openers for residential and commercial properties. You will educate customers, present accurate estimates, and promote the best solutions while delivering exceptional service.

Top performers can earn $120,000+ per year with uncapped commissions; a guaranteed baseline is provided through a minimum hourly wage.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and install residential and commercial garage doors and openers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Educate customers on repair and replacement options.
• Recommend products and services that best fit each customer's needs.
• Prepare accurate estimates and professionally present solutions.
• Build trust with customers while delivering an outstanding service experience.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

What We're Looking For

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Sales experience preferred, with the ability to confidently educate customers and recommend the right products and services
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to build trust and create a positive customer experience
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a desire to maximize earnings
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Garage door experience is preferred, but we also welcome candidates with experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, automotive repair, appliance repair, or other mechanical trades. If you're mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and eager to learn, we'll provide the training you need to succeed.
