Job summary

Precision Garage Door Service in Austin, TX is seeking a Garage Door Installer to repair, replace, and install garage doors. You will be trained and provided with a company vehicle and tools to grow your career, with the potential to earn $60,000–$100,000 per year.

During the 90-day training you will receive base pay, then an hourly rate based on the work completed. They emphasize safety, customer service, and independence while staying connected to a strong supportive team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and Repair – You’ll be responsible for repairing garage doors, door operators, replacing worn or broken door parts, installing new equipment including doors, and replacing springs.
• Educating the Customer – You’ll explain in detail and help the customer understand their options to repair the issue and prevent future ones. After the work is done, you’ll review and explain it to customers so that they fully understand the work performed.
• Sell Service, Repairs, and New Equipment – Using our proven model, which we train you in, you’ll sell services to the customer using a good/better/best model. You’ll also collect payment from the customer.
• Manage Inventory in Your Vehicle – You’ll need the right equipment, tools, and products to properly sell the job and service the equipment.

Your Responsibilities as a Door Installer

Requirements for the Door Installer Role

Pay and Benefits

We offer competitive pay that will meet or beat any trade. During your 90-day training period you will receive a base pay of $XX.XX per hour. After training, you will receive hourly rate on the work you complete. Most door installers make between $60,000 and $100,000 per year.
