Job summary

Central Door Solutions in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled door service installer to install and service residential and commercial garage doors and related equipment. You will read work orders, measure openings, and ensure doors operate to spec, while keeping the job site clean and organized.

You'll work in our New Berlin and Plover locations, with on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check are required, and training is provided

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on experience with garage doors, overhead doors, or related mechanical field service.
Comfort with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; insurable under commercial auto policy.

Responsibilities

Install residential and commercial garage doors, rolling steel doors, and gate operators.
Install and adjust openers, springs, cables, rollers, tracks, and hardware in the field.
Remove existing doors, prep openings, and confirm measurements before install.
Complete installations independently, reading the work order and setting the door to spec; explain operation to customers.
Keep truck stocked, paperwork accurate, and job site clean.
Participate in after-hours on-call rotation for emergency service.
