Job summary

BetMGM seeks a Compliance Analyst to join our AI & Data organization, supporting regulatory obligations across US states, Canada, and federal gaming rules. You’ll work with Legal, Product, Trading, Risk, and Operations to monitor developments, conduct reviews, and maintain reporting frameworks that underpin BetMGM’s regulatory standing.

The ideal candidate has a regulatory background in gaming, strong analytical skills, and excels in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in compliance or risk management in a regulated gaming environment.
• Solid working knowledge of US state gaming regulations and licensing requirements.
• Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory text.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python and Snowflake functionality.
• Experience with compliance management systems, GRC tools, or regulatory tracking platforms is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise compliance reports and policy documents.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Interest in regulated sports betting or iGaming is highly encouraged; previous experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable state and federal gaming regulations across BetMGM jurisdictions.
• Conduct compliance reviews and audits of products, promotions, marketing materials, and data practices to identify regulatory risk.
• Track regulatory changes across US jurisdictions, assess business impact, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Prepare, review, and submit regulatory filings, reports, and license renewal documentation.
• Collaborate with Legal, Product, Trading, and Operations to provide compliance guidance on launches and campaigns.
• Support internal investigations and incident response, including root-cause analysis and remediation planning.
• Maintain and improve compliance documentation, policies, and internal controls.
• Leverage data and analytics tools to build monitoring dashboards and automate reporting workflows.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of requirements.
