IGT is seeking a Game Mathematician to shape player experience by designing and analyzing the mathematical models behind our games. You will contribute across the full game development lifecycle and work with cross-functional teams.

The role is hybrid and based in one of our locations, including Austin, with responsibilities spanning model development, validation, and documentation to support game successes.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics is required.
• Coding experience is required, with C# strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of probability mathematics.

Responsabilidades

• Implements mathematical logic for prize determination to match math design specifications.
• Develops mathematical and statistical models; evaluates models for functionality and adherence to specifications.
• Assists in writing and evaluating production code.
• Demonstrates probabilities and mathematical payout via Excel calculation and/or simulation.
• Uses proprietary tools to generate math files for games (slot, bingo, lottery).
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure math is correctly implemented.
• Evaluates products in development and provides feedback.
• Delivers on project deliverables within management deadlines.
• Creates math documentation and project deliverables with accuracy and thoroughness.
