Job summary

SpinPlay Games is seeking a seasoned Game Designer to join our Game Design department. This full-time remote position is based in Nevada or Texas, helping shape new game designs, themes, and overall flow for electronic slot machines.

You will collaborate closely with artists, animators, and developers to manage multiple projects end-to-end, ensuring a high-quality player experience. The role blends creative vision with project management and technical expertise in slot game design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, game design, CS, or related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in slot game design.
• Strong math and QA background related to game mechanics.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects from concept to finish.
• Experience collaborating with art, animation, and software engineering.
• Proficiency with JIRA or similar PM tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to high-quality game standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and review original game designs, themes, and concepts for electronic slots.
• Review game software during development to ensure quality and design specs.
• Document files required for game development and regulatory submissions.
• Act as end-to-end project manager for multiple slot game projects.

About The Role

This full-time remote position is based in Nevada or Texas and offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the development of new game designs, themes, and overall game flow for electronic slot machines. As a Game Designer, you will be responsible for directing the execution of the game vision through close collaboration with artists, animators, and developers. You will manage multiple projects end-to-end, ensuring that all game elements meet quality standards and align with the intended player experience. This role requires a blend of creative vision, project management, and technical expertise in slot game design and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, game design, computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience specifically in slot game design and development.
• Strong background in mathematics and quality assurance related to game mechanics and design.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept through completion.
• Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams including art, animation, and software engineering.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA or similar software.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and engage team members.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining high-quality game standards.

Responsibilities
