Job summary

RCX Sports is seeking a Game Day Representative to oversee operations for youth sports programs in Georgia. You will set up and break down booths and fields, manage game situations with coaches, players, parents, and officials, and greet customers at the field.

This role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and conflict resolution, with weekend/season scheduling. Training is provided and there are opportunities for seasonal pay increases based on performance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee game day operations across multiple youth sports programs throughout the year.
• Support sport‑specific game day operations including set‑up/break‑down of booths and fields/courts.
• Handle game situations involving coaches, players, parents/guardians, and officials.
• Establish relationships with coaches and officials and fill in as a coach or official as needed.
• Prepare officials’ scorecards, sell mouth guards, and greet customers at the field.
• Communicate with supervisor weekly and attend Game Day Rep meetings; submit Weekend League Review.
• Maintain communication with supervisor during the day via phone with internet access.
• Respectfully resolve conflicts and address customer concerns appropriately.

Overview

We are RCX Sports, the leader in youth sports experiences and events. We serve as the official licensee and operating partner of NFL FLAG, Jr. NBA Leagues, NHL Street Hockey, MLS GO, and MLB Pitch Hit and Run. Our mission is to improve accessibility and inclusivity in sports by enhancing the youth sports experience and creating opportunities for all athletes to play.

Responsibilities

• Oversee game day operations across multiple youth sports programs throughout the year, including NFL FLAG, NHL STREET, MLS GO, and NBA/WNBA Jr. Leagues
• Support sport‑specific game day operations including set‑up and break‑down of league booths and fields/courts, and handle game situations involving coaches, players, parents/guardians, and officials
• Establish relationships with coaches and officials, and fill in as a coach or official as needed
• Prepare officials’ scorecards, sell mouth guards, and meet and greet customers at the field
• Communicate with supervisor throughout the week, attend weekly Game Day Rep meetings at night and submit Weekend League Review (scores, events of the day, etc.)
• Communicate with supervisor throughout the day via phone with internet access
• Respectfully resolve conflicts and address concerns and questions from customers appropriately
• Regularly attend coaches’ meetings, staff trainings, weekly meetings with supervisor

More About the Role

• Work Schedule: Varies by sport/program and season; typically weekends and/or select weekdays during each season; schedule will be confirmed during the interview process
• Compensation: Starting hourly rate $18/hour. Eligible for an annual increase of $1/hour up to $25/hour
• Pay Range: $18 – $25 per hour (Westside Falcons Salvation Army, GA)
• Opportunity to return for following league season and earn seasonal pay increases with good performance
• Training provided by RCX Sports; no prior sports industry experience required
