Responsibilities

• Prepare steel products and materials for the galvanizing/BGC process.
• Hang angle iron and other products on spreader bars for processing.
• Stage tubular products and organize materials for production.
• Inspect and safely use production fixtures, chains, hooks, and lifting devices.
• Wire small and medium-sized parts to racks for pickling and galvanizing.
• Move steel materials throughout the facility and yard.
• Perform finishing and quality-enhancement activities on galvanized products.
• Operate air and electric-powered tools to prepare and clean materials.
• Assist with general housekeeping and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
• Follow all safety procedures and help create a safe work environment for yourself and your teammates.
