Job summary

CETRA BASE is seeking an AIV Engineer to join the Galileo GMS Engineering team, located in Germany (Munich or Stuttgart area). The role focuses on ground segment integration, verification and validation, and software installation on Windows and Linux systems. Travel within Europe and security clearance eligibility are required.

The position offers a permanent contract with a competitive salary package and opportunities to contribute to Europe’s Galileo project within a multicultural team.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science.
• Experience in Integration, Verification and Validation of software.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems.
• Excellent team worker and ability to work in a multicultural team.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Eligible for security clearance.
• Availability to travel within Europe.

Responsibilities

• Ground Segment integration based on customer requirements.
• Ground Segment verification and validation.
• SW installation and configuration on Windows and Linux environments.
• SW functional analysis.
• Test procedure execution.
• SW anomalies analysis and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support to all activities.
• Support on-site coordination to identify and mitigate current issues.
