MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Gainesville, Florida. The role requires completing a two-year Radiologic Technology education, ARRT registry, and 18 months MRI experience, preferably in critical care. Travel benefits and housing assistance are included.

The MRI Technologist will operate scanners, position patients, administer contrast, and ensure strict safety and regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality imaging services.

Formación

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure patient, staff and visitor safety around MRI equipment and magnetic fields.
• Position patients and coils on the MRI table and prepare patients for scanning.
• Inject contrast media as required and monitor patient response.
• Set appropriate technical parameters and operate MRI scanners and related equipment.
• Observe image data on monitors and ensure quality and accuracy of scans.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations and maintain clinical safety and compliance.
