  • Own Calibration Control: Maintain the calibration schedule and records, monitor upcoming and overdue items, and coordinate outside calibration, repair, or replacement when needed.
  • Support the Production Floor: Respond to gage requests, assemble and maintain measurement kits for shop-floor use, help employees select the correct measuring equipment, and replace tools that are damaged, missing, or outside their calibration period.
  • Inspect with Confidence: Perform routine dimensional inspections from drawings using appropriate hand gages, document results accurately, and promptly communicate discrepancies.
  • Control Measurement Risk: Quarantine equipment suspected of damage or out-of-tolerance conditions and support the review of any product that may have been affected.
  • Stay Audit-Ready: Keep the gage crib orderly and maintain complete, traceable records that support Preci's AS9100 quality system and customer requirements.
